Custer Hospitality | A note regarding COVID-19

Given the rapidly changing environment surrounding COVID-19, we are making the difficult decision to push back the reopening of hotels this summer as a sign of solidarity and support of the national effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 and, in doing so protect our guests, community, and employees.

Best Western – July 15, 2020

Econo Lodge  – Closed for Summer 2020 due to COVID-19.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites – June 1, 2020

Comfort Inn & Suites – June 1, 2020

Buffalo Ridge Camp Resort – May 22, 2020

Giving you peace of mind on your upcoming travels…

At Custer Hospitality, our first priority is always the health and safety of our guests and associates. Now, with so many questions about COVID-19, we want to keep you, our valued guests, up to date with key information on our heightened efforts to ensure peace of mind as you plan your next stay with us. Here are a few highlights of our additional measures:

ENHANCED CLEANING EFFORTS

Rest assured our standard cleaning routines are very thorough; however, during this time, we have increased our efforts throughout our Super 8 and will continue as our hotels begin to reopen in April. These actions include, but are not limited to, cleaning and disinfecting hard surfaces and frequently touched items in guest rooms and throughout the public spaces of the hotel. We’re providing hand sanitizer stations at front desks and also ensure our guest services representatives have disposable wipes with them at all times to clean commonly used surfaces like door handles and counters. It’s also important to note that our cleaning materials and supplies meet or exceed industry standards.

The focus on cleanliness and sanitation is imperative to our daily operation and has always been a top priority for our properties. These additional measures will work to help ensure we continue to provide a safe environment for our guests.

ONGOING EFFORTS

Our leadership team is focused on ensuring your well-being during your stay with us. We continue to educate our teams at each hotel on strategies to assist in preventing the spread of coronavirus. Additionally, we are currently following the direction of the leading authority, Governor Kristi Noem, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and other health organizations to ensure we are doing everything we can to keep you safe and informed.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand flexibility is key during uncertain times and that’s why we’re adjusting our cancellation policies. Now through April 30, 2020, we are waiving cancellation fees for existing and new reservations at all Custer Hospitality properties. In this very fluid environment, we continue to monitor the situation and will revisit this policy as needed. Please call us direct at  605-574-1200 for more information on our latest cancellation policy and additional updates – including specific information on bookings made through a travel agent or online booking platform (i.e., Booking.com, Expedia) and groups.

We are confident in our Custer Hospitality team to take care of you and your loved ones during your stay with us.

We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Best Regards,

Leah Scott, Chief Operating Officer
